All candles are an original creation made from paraffin. Seldom will
you find a solid color in our lineup. Make no mistake, they exist.
We just like to be a bit more expressive. Our candles are poured from inspiration and made using a variety of
techniques. (The pictures shown below are our interpretations of
what our various candles may resemble. Votives and Bear Hugs are
usually solid or two-toned in color. The pillars are where we mostly
color outside of the lines.)
We do not pour by machine or use scented wax crystals.
Our candles are scented completely with high quality fragrances. Our popular
size is the 3x3.5" pillars. We do offer 3x6.5 and 3x9.5 pillars as
well as votives. On average, the 3x3.5 pillar weighs 12.5 oz. and
will burn between 50 and 55 hours with proper care. Our 3x6.5
pillars weight about 24 oz. and will burn about 110 hours. Our 3x9.5
size are made to order. This size weighs about 36 oz. and will burns
about 175 hours. Votives are 2 oz and averaged between 15 and 18
hours if burned in a proper, tight-fighting votive glass. Votives
are not made to be freestanding candles. They will start to spill
liquid wax about 45 minutes to 1 hour into a burn.
Bear Hugs. What is a Bear Hug? It's a scented, wickless piece of wax that is
melted in tart/melt warmer to fragrance rooms. Candle care: Never burn a candle unattended and keep out of
reach of children and pets. Do not burn in drafty areas. Keep the
wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch and the melt pool free from wick debris.
Always burn in a heat-proof candle holder. We recommend burning the
candle in three-hour increments. Never burn a candle near flammable
objects. Waxes and marketing ploys: There are several types of waxes
on the market and each has benefits. To become a more educated
buyer, we will refer you to information offered by the
National Candle
Association, which sets industry standards. Note: Fragrances listed as
type are trademark names by other companies. We are not a
distributor for these companies. The fragrances we use are versions
of what these companies have. We do not use products from these
companies to make ours.
